1	From the main belfast site, the s***pbuilding empire covered the london works, scotstoun works, govan works, southampton works, clyde foundry, finnieston works, and the liverpool works.
2	Best known as the company that built the tanic, harland and wolff has for more than 150 years built some of the largest and grandest vessels to ply the world's waterways. over the course of its history, the company has built merchant sps, luxury liners, wars**ps, oil tankers and bulk cargo vessels.
3	The yard produced men of steel - hard, self-educated, working cla* heroes, in their time, belfast-built vessels and their countless innovations were often the first, the biggest, the earliest, the fastest, the most luxurious - the best.during the second world war, the yard played an important role in the war effort builting over 250 naval and merchant sps. ın addition to those new builds, the company repaired or converted over 22,000 s**ps. employment at belfast rose to over 30,000 during the war years, with over 20,000 employed at other locations throughout the uk.
